⚠️ I'm not your stereotypical suit and tie advisor. I prefer to wear jeans and crazy socks...so I do (everyday).

Financial planning is not just a job for me. I eat, live, and breathe this stuff. Like seriously, I've tried finding a hobby but I truly love what I do.

Outside of work, I'm planning my next road trip because traveling is imperative to my existence.  I have called Topeka, Kansas home since birth. My tuition dollars went to Washburn and K-State; but I'm a die-hard KU 🏀 fan. I'm constantly striving to be a better person than I was yesterday however my bad habits include a love for Mexican food 🌮 and Pepsi. The people that make my life worth living are my wife, Jinni (yes, that's spelled correctly) and my kids- Brice, Damien, Delaney, and Danika.

Academically, I received my Bachelor of Applied Science degree from Washburn University and a Graduate Certificate in Personal Financial Planning from Kansas State University. I also earned my CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation through the CFP® Board. 

Professionally, I have been in the financial services industry for 18 years and founded Afflora Financial Life Planning in 2016. I was recognized in 2018 by InvestmentNews as a 40 Under 40 Honoree and was the recipient of Topeka's Top 20 Business Leaders Under 40 award in 2010.

Lastly, I love God and I'm proud to say that- My faith alone has made me a rich man!
